Family Sessions with Mini Gym

The MoveMENt with New Beginnings CIC have provided the first ever mini gym in North Lincolnshire.

Children from 2-8 years of age can work out just like mum & dad and have fun! Children love to copy grown ups. We pride ourselves in turning child’s play into life long habits, giving them the best possible start in life.

If you want to join the fun & fitness together then 1:1 is for you. It’s so important to not just say you think something like your health is important, it’s good to SHOW your kids you think it is. And not to just disappear from family time to visit the gym. Why not encourage them from an early age to get active & get fit. Let us give you a program you can ‘play’ with your kids.

1:1 Family coaching is for you if you want to focus on YOUR goals, & and work on your health, fitness and wellbeing, but it also builds your family into a healthy unit.

Prices are £30 per 45 minutes, reduced to £25 per 45 minute session if on a 12 week contract.

The MoveMENt with New Beginnings CIC proudly offers the Children's Mini Gym during personal training sessions and exclusively during our female-only sessions in Health and Hijabs every Saturday at 10.45 am.

Join us in promoting a healthy and active future for our children!

NHS Guidelines

“Pre-schoolers should spend at least 180 minutes (3 hours) a day doing a variety of physical activities spread throughout the day, including active and outdoor play. The more the better.

The 180 minutes should include at least 60 minutes (1 hour) of moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity.

Children under 5 should not be inactive for long periods, except when they’re asleep. Watching TV, travelling by car, bus or train, or being strapped into a buggy for long periods are not good for a child’s health and development.

All children under 5 who are overweight can improve their health by meeting the activity guidelines, even if their weight does not change. To achieve and maintain a healthy weight, they may need to do additional activity and make dietary changes.”

Children's Mini Gym

What's included in the Children's Mini Gym:

Mini Treadmill - It provides a low impact activity. It is manually driven with a very heavy duty frame. Odometer displays session time for distance and speed.

Mini BikeThis is a stationary brightly coloured bike that allows the benefits of cycling regardless of the weather! The seat can be adjusted to suit the child’d height and the tension is also adjustable to suit the child’s strength level with low impact. Odometer shows session time for distance or speed.

Mini Rower - This provides a low impact activity. It is a heavy duty construction with a bright foam covered single bar, footrests are non-slip and a soft padded seat. Tension on arm movement can be adjusted.

Mini Cross Trainer - This is a non impact elliptical activity trainer. The footrests are non slip, designed using a heavy duty colourful frame with foam coloured handles. It develops leg and arm coordination quickly. This is also the favourite out of all the children’s gym equipment.

Mini Weightlifting Bench - The mini weightlifting bench is a fun way to introduce children to the correct exercise and weightlifting styles and procedures. Teach them how to exercise their muscles.

Mini Barbells - Now your kids can join in the fun of overhead squats, cleans, and all those lifts you love to do.

Mini Dumbbells - Dumbbells are perfect to increase their strength and their motor skills.

The Mini Gym has the latest children's innovative products. This is a wonderful way for our children to have fun while enjoying the additional benefits of safe and healthy activities.

This will inspire their mobile and active lifestyles now and in the future, which will benefit them throughout their lives.

Safety is our priority and all the pieces of children’s gym equipment have been tested to the latest UKCA standard. All the main exercise equipment are made from quality, heavy duty steel.
