About the event

How can a fitness boot camp improve your mental health? 

Feeling sluggish? Maybe a jog around the block is the last thing you want to do, but if you persist, your body won’t be the only one thanking you.

It has long been proven that mental and physical health are strongly related. The more exercise you do, the more endorphins (hormones that improve your mood) you release, which has great potential for enhancing your overall mental wellbeing.

No matter what your age, gender or size, 45 minutes of physical activity 3-5 times a week can boost a positive change in your mental state.

Not only does it help neurologically: if you involve yourself in group activities or team sports you can also benefit from the added social aspect, increasing your confidence and gaining more friends for moral support.

New Beginnings Bootcamp aims to create a friendly community of campers who help and support each other. Our instructors are on hand to give support, reassurance and expert guidance throughout your experience.

Armed with the knowledge and confidence gathered at boot camp, you can continue to progress and once you see physical results you will feel a sense of greater self-esteem, self-control and the ability to rise to a challenge.

And remember, even a marathon has to be ran one step at a time.

Mental health is an important issue in today’s society and should be taken seriously.
