STRONG Initative
Prevention-Focused Health, Fitness & Wellbeing Support for Young People
(Aged 11–17)
STRONG (Scunthorpe Together Resisting Ongoing Negative Grounds) is a 12-month, fully funded, prevention-focused programme delivered by The MoveMENt New Beginning CIC in partnership with New Beginnings Personal Training & Wellness Facility.
The programme uses structured physical activity, mentoring, and emotional wellbeing support to help young people build confidence, resilience, positive behaviours, and healthy routines.
STRONG is designed to support young people who may be disengaged, vulnerable, or facing additional barriers to participation in sport, education, or wellbeing services.
